Classic Pesto

Whip up this versatile, easy-to-make topping any time you can find fresh basil. Great for soups, vegetables, pasta, grilled meats, fish, and sandwiches. Try freezing small portions to defrost later & add flavor to your weekday meal.

Chocolate Mousse

A rich and airy chocolate mousse that is easy to make, and great for a dessert you can make a day ahead of time. Make sure to chill for a couple hours before serving.

Minestrone Soup

My favorite vegetable soup -- love it with a little parmesan and pesto on top! I add a little shredded chicken for my meat lovers.

Banana Bread

Moist and rich in flavor, this banana bread is great on its own, with a little butter on top, and even toasted. Make it plain, nutty or sweet (chocolate chips) but try it plain first because once you add the chocolate, it's hard to go back.

Winnipeg Cheese Cake

This creamy and light cheese cake is surprisingly easy to make; just make sure to hunt down the fresh cream cheese.

White Beans and Toast

This vegetarian comfort meal is easy to make, especially if you can make the soffritto ahead of time.

Flourless Chocolate Cake

This flourless chocolate cake is perfect to take to a party when you're bringing dessert -- always popular, easy to transport and gluten-free as well.

Nanaimo Bars

These coconut/chocolate bars are a delicious Canadian treat. Very sweet but that doesn't seem to stop my kids and their friends from eating as many as I serve.

Bran Muffins

These healthy muffins taste great -- rich in flavor and even better with your favorite mix-ins.
